Then why aren't you going to Kamelot this year? =P I saw them in November, which is why I'm super excited to see them again this year xD  By the way, I remember you said that you were going to Kamelot in a topic on THOI... I guess that was two years ago then. Back then I thought something like: why would you ever go to a band like that? *mumbles something wanabe-wise about time and ignorance*

And Simone Simons is indeed a great singer.......... Epica was really AWESOME last Saturday!

No, I haven't. Once was just before the release of Poetry for the Poisoned, which was like 2 years ago or someth. Roy Khan was still their vocalist, they had pyrotechnics and Thomas Youngblood did the intro of Forever at the balcony (the venue was Paradiso). The second time was not too long after Khan left, with Fabio Lione from Rhapsody of Fire filling in and doing a surprisingly good job at it. Once again they had pyrotechnics, and they also had some fancy costumes and stuff for March of Mephisto. Oh, and Simone Simons was there for The Haunting, which is obviously great for any show :P
So basically I don't even need to say 'have fun', because there's no need for me to wish you that, you're going to have fun anyway.

About Flash: yea it sucks. Will probably get replaced by HTML5 and/or some of its plugins not too long from now too. Flash is a poorly optimized, buggy, insecure piece of ****e, honestly.

Edit: lol cencorship

Have you seen them last November?

Shout: (*&^%$ FLASH! It's not always as logical as it should be, unfortunately. Giving me errors while I haven't changed a thing since the last working version... >:(

Nice! I've actually seen them live twice, though I won't be attending this one. They make it quite a show, in my experience ;)

Art / Re: Book Covers

@Saphira: that was an interesting read, about the Book Cover trends. I've seen it so often and even though some covers look fantastic, it annoys me when they look like the cover of another best seller. Sometimes it isn't even fair towards te story, for a cover can be just as well bad advertisement as good advertisement.

About the faces on covers. I immediately had to think of this cover:

Apart from the fact that it's photoshopped rather bad, the girl in the front is just an useless addition. The main character of the story was dark haired (or maybe red, but certainly not blonde) and eleven. As far as I can remember there wasn't one girl in the whole story that had some similarities with the girl on the cover.
It's a pity, because the book was a nice read (for a ten year old at least). It deserves a nicer cover. :)

edit: Talking about real people on book covers, I just came across this book. I think it looks beautiful. No idea what the book is about thought.

Lol, Hans Kazan looks so much like Michael Crawford in that video (at least, that was my first thought), but I guess you guys don't even know who Crawford is?

@Nienna: I've never seen The Wiz, but from what I've heard it's just a bad rip off from The Wizard of Oz? I've seen Wicked though and that one was awesome :D (though after reading The Wizard of Oz I realized the story of Wicked doesn't correspondent with TWoO at all and could just have been a story on it's own) And of course I read the book of The Wizard of Oz. However, I also read some reviews of the movie and the story is indeed not that spectacular. Too much Wizard of Oz (19something movie) and Wicked and too less originality and depth) Still want to see it though, but I guess I'll wait for the DVD or maybe till it's on TV.

What's with all the fairytales and Oz-stories lately anyway? There's a Wizard of Oz series in production (described as: "The Wizard of Oz meets Game of Thrones", which doesn't sound good at all),  and I stopped counting all the fairy tale movies that have been released last year and will be this year. Don't get me wrong, I love fairy tales, but what's the sense of turning Hansl and Gretl into witch hunters and both Grimm and Beauty and the Beast in some modern setting? It feels as if the fantasy movie industry has ran out of ideas or something.

Movies / Re: Last movie you saw

According to my watch-list, it's In Time. An enjoyable movie, but it could have been so much more. (I mean, the concept of a world in which time is literally money, is quite intriguing, but they didn't take this to the level I had expected...)
But lately, I'm more a series watcher (currently watching Lost Girl, Degrassi, Pretty Little Liars, The Big Bang Theory, Bones and Elementary).

Awesome! He definitely has skills. And based on his gallery, I guess he did the concept art for Alice In Wonderland as well :)

I'm not sure if I want to see it, since the overall story doesn't interest me too much (I've been to the Dutch musical called 'The Wiz' and it was actually kind of lame, so I think for me, that experience rubbed off on the whole story). But I'll see what reviews say, and maybe I'll change my mind.
